Frequently Asked Questions – FAQs

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: Keva Mack Massage & Wellness accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, Cash App, Venmo, Afterpay, HSA and FSA Debit Cards are accepted as full payment or partial payment after the deposit is paid online with a credit card.

Q:  Do you accept insurance?

A: No. Licensed Massage Therapists in the state of Texas are not allowed to direct bill insurance companies. Payment is due in full at the time of service. You can be provided with an itemized receipt that you can use to pursue reimbursement with your insurance company. If you’d like an itemized receipt, please be sure to request it during your visit or my email.

Q: How early can I come to my appointment?

A: If you arrive more than 10 minutes prior to your appointment, the office door will be locked.  The office door is unlocked 10 minutes prior to your appointment.

Q: Do you offer Squeeze-In, Walk-In or Last Minute Appointments?

A: No. Sessions must be scheduled at least 12 hours prior to appointment time.

Q: Do you provide “Happy Endings”?

A: “Happy Ending” is code for sex for payment at the end of a rub down by an unlicensed person. Rub downs are mistakenly referred to as Massage Therapy. They are not!  Licensed Massage Therapists do not offer rub downs, they are educated and licensed to offer Massage Therapy!  Establishments that offer Happy Endings/Prostitution do NOT offer Massage Therapy, they offer sex work. A Licensed Massage Therapist, especially one who has been in the industry for almost 10 years (like Keva), would NEVER risk their license, their health, their reputation, their Massage Therapy job or business, or their freedom to perform Happy Endings/Prostitution. People who provide Happy Endings/Prostitution are sex workers and what they are doing is against the law in the state of Texas. Many times, business owners who employ people who provide rub downs and Happy Endings/Prostitution are human traffickers (enslavers) and people who are requesting Happy Endings/Prostitution are contributing to modern day slavery, which sadly is a billion dollar business.

Keva Mack Massage & Wellness, LLC specializes in Clinical Massage Therapy for Pain Management and Post Surgical Recovery. We never have and never will participate in or contribute to prostitution and human trafficking!

If you want a Happy Ending/Prostitution, DO NOT book ANYTHING at Keva Mack Massage & Wellness, LLC! NEVER EVER contact Keva or any other Licensed Massage Therapist in the state of Texas requesting a Happy Ending/Prostitution.

LICENSED MASSAGE THERAPISTS DO NOT PROVIDE HAPPY ENDINGS/PROSTITUTION! YOU ARE NOT WELCOMED AT KEVA MACK MASSAGE & WELLNESS! WE DO NOT PROVIDE THE SERVICES YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!

Q: Will insurance reimburse me for Massage Therapy I receive after Orthopedic Surgery or a car accident?

A: It depends:  Insurance companies vary.  Your best strategy would be to contact your insurance company to find out if Massage Therapy, when deemed Medically Necessary by a doctor or chiropractor, is covered. If it is, have your doctor or chiropractor write a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) and bring that letter to your appointment.  For more information on Letters of Medical Necessity, click here. I will use the information on the Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) to provide care and prepare a receipt you can use to pursue reimbursement from your insurance company for your Massage Therapy session.

Q:  Do you accept Afterpay?

A: Yes!  Afterpay is a short term financing company that will finance your session and allow you to split the cost of your session into 4 interest free payments. To use Afterpay, click here to visit the Afterpay page.  After you have set up payment with AfterPay, call or text 817-668-5382 to book your session.

Q: Do you provide Deep Tissue Massage?

A:  Yes, but not as a stand alone service.  I use Deep Tissue Massage as one of the many therapeutic techniques in my Therapeutic Massage sessions. I define Deep Tissue Massage as a Massage Therapy technique that uses the amount of pressure needed to release tightness and tension in the muscle.  If a client would like more pressure than is needed to release tightness and tension in the muscle or they like to feel achy all over after a massage, I am not the Massage Therapist for them.

Q: I just had Plastic Surgery, can I book a Manual Lymphatic Drainage session with you?

A: No. Manual Lymphatic Drainage sessions are for people who have not had plastic surgery in the past 6-8 weeks.  After plastic surgery, your body changes.  You have surgical wounds, pain, a change in nerve activity, increased swelling (especially in the surgical area), internal trauma and movement limitations, in addition to possible emotional highs and lows and surgical drains or wound vacs. The physical, educational, emotional and self-care support you receive as a plastic surgery patient is different from what the average Manual Lymphatic Drainage client receives. You will require a different level of care than a person who has not had plastic surgery. A specialized form of Manual Lymphatic Drainage has been created for you.  It is called Post Op Lymphatic Massage.  You will need to book this form of Manual Lymphatic Drainage after plastic surgery. If you book a Manual Lymphatic Massage for Post Op Recovery, your appointment will be changed to Post Op Lymphatic Massage, you will be notified, and given an opportunity to cancel or move forward with your Post Op appointment.

Q: Do Lymphatic Massages hurt after liposuction surgery?

A: No, not at all.  Manual Lymphatic Drainage (aka Lymphatic Massage or Post Op Lymphatic Massage) is a light touch manual therapy.  When administered by a properly trained healthcare professional, it should not hurt when applied after liposuction surgery.
