Post Op Care
- Post Op Manual Lymphatic Drainage is for individuals who have recently had Plastic Surgery. Sessions can begin 24 hours after surgery, but most take place around Day 8 Post Op. Post Op Manual Lymphatic Drainage helps to reduce swelling, pain, inflammation, stress and tissue hardness after Plastic Surgery. Based on how the client is recovering, Aromatherapy, contouring massage, thermotherapy, cryotherapy and gentle wood therapy are added to sessions. Post Op Health and Wellness Education is also provided. In-Home Sessions are available. Contact Keva for details.
- Post Op Body Contouring is for individuals who have undergone plastic surgery. Sessions combine Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Wood Therapy, Ultrasound Cavitation, Radio Frequency Body Treatments and Massage Therapy to soften tight tissues, reduce swelling, soften and flatten surgical scars, reduce fibrotic tissues and lessen the appearance of bumps and lumps in the surgical area. Sessions can begin approximately 4-6 weeks Post Op and can extend beyond the first year after surgery.
Massage Therapy
- Therapeutic Massage combines Spa Massage and Clinical Massage Therapy to assist in relieving stress, relaxing muscle tightness, reducing aches and pains and improving overall well-being. Hot Towels, Warm Bamboo, Aromatherapy, Hot Stones, Gua Sha, Cupping Therapy, Fascial Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Assisted Stretching and Trigger Point Therapy can be added to customize your session, as needed, at no additional cost.
- Clinical Massage is all about reducing pain. These sessions may combine Cupping Therapy, Gua Sha (muscle scraping), Assisted Stretching, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Release, as needed, to relieve pain. Clinical Massage sessions last for 30 minutes and focus on one specific area. Clients commonly book Clinical Massage Therapy while going through Physical Therapy, to address a specific ache or pain or are referred by a licensed medical professional.
- Relaxation Massage combines Swedish Massage with Mind Body Practices and Spa Therapies to create a massage that relaxes the mind, calms the mind and soothes the nervous system. Guided Relaxation, Hot Towels, Aromatherapy, Hot Stones and/or Warm Bamboo are used. Assisted Stretching and Sound Baths may also be added, as needed, at no additional cost. Manual Lymphatic Drainage
- Manual Lymphatic Drainage uses gentle rhythmic strokes to encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid. Manual Lymph Drainage helps to reduce swelling, inflammation, aches and pain. It has been used to help manage Migraines, Sinusitis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Post Surgical Swelling, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Scleroderma. It has also been used to improve overall wellness by boosting the immune system and relieving stress. In-Home Sessions are available. Contact Keva for details.
Stretch Therapy
- Assisted Stretching is fully body stretching that helps to calm the nervous system, relax tight muscles, increase circulation, stretch connective tissues, increase range of motion and improve flexibility. Sessions take place on a massage table with the client fully dressed in yoga or workout clothes. Foot or Scalp Massage can be added to your session, upon request, at no additional charge. Spa Naps
- Deluxe Spa Naps are all about sleep and relaxation. Deluxe Spa Naps take place in a treatment room with low lighting, calming music and fragrant essential oils. Sessions include an Infrared Sauna Treatment, a 30-minute Sleep Massage, Hot Towels and Aromatherapy Treatments. Deluxe Sap Naps help to increase circulation, relieve joint pain, soothe the nervous system, boost the immune system, stimulate lymph drainage, relieve muscle pain and promote relaxation and sleep. This treatment is designed to put you to sleep, so don’t feel you have to apologize for snoring. We consider that a complement! Studies show that the most effective length of time for a nap is 20-30 minutes and that these naps can help to enhance mood, relieve stress, improve focus and sharpen problem-solving skills.
Craniosacral Therapy
- Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive hands on therapy that helps to calm the nervous system and improve cerebrospinal fluid circulation. A large portion of the treatment focuses on the head and back, but other parts of the body are included. Craniosacral Therapy helps to relieve stress, anxiety, headaches, neck pain, and insomnia. Reiki Energy Therapy
- Reiki Energy Therapy helps to relax the nervous system and improve energy flow throughout the body. Reiki has been used to help individuals prepare for surgery, speed up recovery after sickness, reduce pain, deepen spiritual connection, manage grief and relieve stress. Reiki sessions take place on a massage table with the client fully dressed. Each session is customized for your specific health and wellness concerns. Premium Add-On Services – Add these services to your session for an additional charge
- Abdominal Massage helps to improve the health of the organs in the abdominal region. Abdominal Massage has been used to help increase lymphatic drainage, improve circulation to abdominal organs, reduce inflammation, improve digestion, reduce constipation, boost the immune system, reduce fibroids, reduce menstrual cramps, increase relaxation and aid in liver and spleen detoxification. Please avoid this service if you are menstruating on the day of your appointment.
- Facial Massage uses Hot Towels, Aromatherapy and Massage Therapy to help to decrease tension, pain and stress in the face, head and neck. Facial Massage can help to reduce sinus congestion/pain, tension headaches and TMJ pain.
- Guided Meditation can help you to relax, release stress and reduce muscle tension. Sessions use mindfulness, breathing and visualization exercises to assist in helping you to feel more relaxed and revitalized. During your time on the massage table, you will be guided through 2 customized meditations, one at the beginning of your session and one at the end of your session.
- Craniosacral Relaxation uses Craniosacral Therapy, a gentle, non-invasive hands on therapy, to help calm the nervous system and improve the circulation of cerebrospinal fluid. Our 30 minute add-on session can help to relieve stress and promote deeper relaxation at the end of a Massage Therapy session. Craniosacral Therapy helps to relieve stress, anxiety, headaches, migraines, neck pain and insomnia.
- Reiki Rejuvenation help to create deep relaxation in the mind and body, after a massage. Reiki Energy Therapy helps to relax the nervous system and improve the flow of energy throughout the body. Clients have found Reiki to be helpful in speeding up recovery after sickness or surgery, reducing pain, managing grief and relieving stress. Reiki is performed in hospitals, cancer clinics and hospice centers in America and all over the world.
Freemium Add-On Services – Add these services to your session at no additional charge
- Weighted Blankets are believed to stimulate the production of serotonin (the feel good hormone), reduce cortisol (the stress hormone) and increase melatonin (the hormone that helps you sleep). Weighted Blankets are believed to help the following conditions: ADHA, Autism, Fibromyalgia, Sleep Apnea, Stress, Anxiety, PTSD, Restless Leg Syndrome, Pain and Insomnia. Weighted Blankets are available during Reiki Energy Treatments sessions.
- Sound Baths uses instruments like chimes, gongs and singing bowls to help promote relaxation, decrease stress and improve overall well-being. Sound Bath add-ons lasts about 3 – 5 minutes and take place at the end of a massage. Sound Baths can be added to a Massage Therapy session at no additional charge.
Telehealth
Service Consultations provide you with information about Massage Therapy and Wellness services offered at Keva Mack Massage & Wellness and how these services can help you to reach your health and wellness goals. At the time of your appointment, Keva will call you, by phone, at the number you used to book your Service Consultation. The cost of the service consultation will be deducted from the cost of your first session, if you choose to schedule an appointment.
- Reiki Energy Therapy helps to relax the nervous system and improve the flow of energy throughout the body. Reiki has been used to help individuals prepare for surgery, speed up recovery after sickness, reduce pain, deepen spiritual connection, manage grief and relieve stress. Reiki sessions take place via Google Meet, with the client seated or lying in a comfortable position. Sessions are customized based on your specific health and wellness concerns. Reiki Energy Therapy is used in hospitals, cancer clinics and hospice centers all over the world.
- Yoga for Wellness uses yoga poses, breathing exercise and meditation techniques to help you manage your health and wellness concerns. Yoga for Wellness is customized with your yoga experience level and specific health and wellness concerns in mind. Sessions take place in a chair or on the floor on a yoga mat. To prepare for your session, consider playing relaxing music, lighting a candle and/or diffusing relaxing essential oils. Sessions take place on Google Meet.
- Guided Meditation can help you to release stress, reduce muscular tension and improve overall well-being. During your guided meditation session, you will be verbally guided through a customized meditation session prepared with your specific health and wellness concerns in mind. Your session may include breathing exercises, visualizations, or body scans, to help you relax and focus. To prepare for your session, consider playing relaxing music, lighting a candle and/or diffusing relaxing essential oils. Sessions take place on Google Meet.
