Therapeutic Massage combines Clinical Massage Therapy with Spa Massage Therapy to assist in relieving stress, relaxing muscle tightness, improving lymphatic drainage, reducing aches and pains and promoting overall well-being. Any combination of Percussion Therapy, Gua Sha, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Gliding Cupping, Fascial Therapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Assisted Stretching and Trigger Point Therapy may be used during your massage, as needed.

Pain Relief Massage helps to reduce muscle pain and tightness in one specific area like the neck,  shoulders and upper back or low back and hips. The entire session is focused on one area. These Clinical Massage Therapy sessions combine techniques like Cupping Therapy, Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) aka muscle scraping, Trigger Point Therapy and Myofascial Therapy. Clients commonly book a Pain Relief Massage when Massage Therapy is recommended by a medical doctor or chiropractor for pain.

Assisted Stretching helps to release tight muscles, increase circulation, improve lymphatic drainage, stretch connective tissues, increase range of motion and improve flexibility. Assisted Stretching takes place on a massage table with the client fully dressed in clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in.

Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle, non-invasive, hands on manual therapy that helps to calm the nervous system and improve cerebrospinal fluid circulation. A large portion of the treatment focuses on the head and back, but other parts of the body are included. Craniosacral Therapy helps to relieve stress, anxiety, headaches and insomnia.  It also helps to improve overall well-being. Sessions take place on a massage table with the client fully dressed in comfortable clothes that allow for easy movement.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage

Manual Lymphatic Drainage is a light touch manual therapy that uses gentle rhythmic strokes to encourage the movement of lymphatic fluid. Manual Lymphatic Drainage helps to reduce swelling, fluid retention, inflammation, aches and pain. It has been used to help manage Post Surgical Swelling, Migraines, Sinusitis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Rheumatoid Arthritis and Scleroderma. It has also been used to improve overall wellness by boosting the immune system and relieving stress. PLEASE NOTE: This service is NOT for clients who have had surgery.  If you have had plastic or orthopedic surgery, you will need to book a Post Op Lymphatic Massage or Post Op Orthopedic Massage.  If you have had surgery and book Manual Lymphatic Drainage, your appointment will be switched to Post Op Lymphatic Massage or Post Op Orthopedic Massage.

Brazilian Lymphatic Drainage Massage combine Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Therapy and Swedish Massage to help relieve bloating, reduce fluid retention, improve digestion, reduce inflammation, increase lymphatic drainage, improve circulation and enhance the natural curves of the body, giving it a more sculpted appearance.

Post Op Care

Post-Op Orthopedic Massage assists in surgical recovery after Orthopedic Surgery. Sessions are customized based on the stage of recovery the clients is in and assists in managing swelling, reducing inflammation, lessening tissue tightness, softening scar tissue, improving range of motion, reducing fluid retention and relieving stress. Post Op Orthopedic Massage usually begins around 6 weeks post op. Post Op Orthopedic Massage can be used to help clients who have had surgeries to the hip, shoulder, knee and back. Please bring orders/notes/information from your Surgeon, Physical Therapist or Occupational Therapist to assist in providing the more effective post op recovery care. Post Op Wellness Education is included.

Post Op Lymphatic Massage assists with recovery after Plastic Surgery. Sessions are customized based on the stage of recovery the client is in and assists in managing swelling, reducing inflammation, lessening tissue tightness, improving skin elasticity, softening scar tissue, reducing fluid retention, reducing lumps/bumps and relieving stress. Post Op Lymphatic Massage can begin days after surgery. Please consult your surgeon to find out the best time to start Post Op Lymphatic Massage.  Post-Op Lymphatic Massage can be used to help clients who have had a Tummy Tuck, Liposuction, Lipo 360 with a BBL or Mommy Makeover. Please bring orders/notes from your surgeon’s office in order to assist in providing more effective post op recovery care. Post Op Wellness Education is provided as needed

Post Op Brazilian Lymphatic Massage is for people who have had Plastic Surgery and are at least 6 weeks post op. It combines Post Op Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Myofascial Therapy and Swedish Massage to help increase circulation, reduce fluid retention, inflammation, tissue tightness, scar tissue, lumps and bumps.  Sessions help to enhance the natural curves of the body, giving it a more sculpted appearance and are helpful to client who have had the following surgeries: Tummy Tuck, Abdominal Liposuction, Thigh Liposuction, Lipo 360 with a BBL or Mommy Makeover. Post Op Wellness Education is provided as needed.
