What is needed
The therapist will need an area that is approximately 6 feet x 6 feet to perform Chair Massage. This space will provide enough room for the therapist to move around comfortably. It is recommended that the set-up area be in a conference room, private office, or other quiet area to ensure employees and attendees can feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed.
Everything else needed will be provided by the therapist, including the massage chair (or table), essential oils (to scent the air), face cradle covers, cleaning supplies and relaxing music, where appropriate.
5 to 30 minute Chair Massage sessions are available for your participants. Approximately 2 – 3 minutes of each session will be dedicated to client health screening, service consultation, cleaning and setting up for the next session. Example: One 10-minute Chair Massage session will include approximately 7 – 8 minutes of hands-on massage and 2 – 3 minutes of screening the client for massage, getting the client’s focus for the massage, cleaning up after the massage and setting up for the next massage.
